Studio developer Kojima Productions continues to produce games of the "METAL GEAR SOLID V series Experience" with the latest addition to the series - METAL GEAR SOLID V: The Phantom Pain. Opening a new era in stealth-genre with cutting-edge technology thanks to the Fox Engine, MGSV: The Phantom Pain promises fans an incredible gameplay and complete freedom of action in its new open game world.
The story takes place nine years after the events of the MGSV: Ground Zeroes, and the destruction of the Mother Base. Snake, aka Big Boss, rawakens from a nine year coma. The year is 1984. The Cold War serves as the backdrop as nuclear weapons continue to shape a global crisis. Driven by revenge, Snake establishes a new private army and returns to the battlefield in pursuit of the shadow group, XOF.
