Resident Evil 6 is the latest installment in one of the most renowned survival horror series. The game takes place some time after the events of the previous title.

The world remains under threat from terrorists wielding biological weapons. The situation is more dire than ever: the US and China are under attack, the US President is dead, and remnants of Umbrella are lurking in the shadows. RE6 is the most ambitious entry in the series to date, featuring three main campaigns—each with its own unique storyline that also ties into the overarching narrative.

Each campaign features its own protagonists and offers 4 to 6 hours of gameplay. Leon Kennedy is joined by US government agent Helena Harper; Chris Redfield teams up with BSAA operative Piers Nivans; and Jake Muller—mercenary son of the infamous Albert Wesker—joins forces with Sherry, the daughter of leading Umbrella scientists William and Annette Birkin. An additional campaign featuring the series' most mysterious character, Ada Wong, is also available. The game supports both cooperative play and a single-player experience.
